Responsibilities

The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing all cage operations. Adheres to company and Indiana Gaming Commission policies and regulatory compliance requirements in order to assure the safeguarding of company assets.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the management and operation of the Cage. 
  • Monitors procedures relating to the Cage department to ensure compliance with the Company’s Internal Control. 
  • Responsible for developing, overseeing training and supervising the Cage Department.
  • Responsible for control and account activities within the Cage for assigned shifts.
  • Promotes good customer relations and provides excellent customer response to complaints.
  • Has credit authority as outlined in Credit Policy.
  • Patron enrollment.
  • Trains, coaches, and counsels as appropriate.
  • A role model for the team.
  • A partner to all Casino Operational areas ensuring efficiency in process and effective communication.
  • Assist with variance resolution.
  • Responsible for the operational activities during their assigned shifts.
  • Complies with AML/Title 31 regulations
  • Adheres to internal controls and standards operational procedures.
  • Adheres to Company policies and procedures.
  • In an emergency and with appropriate notification to the Gaming Commission can perform drop and count process but will not be allowed to buy drop in the same gaming day.
  • Adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field and at least 2 years’ experience in Casino Industry preferred or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
