Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Slot Performance Manager, incumbent is responsible for overseeing the activities of the slot technicians for assigned shift. Responsibilities include equipment and systems related issues, new product education and repairs.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise the training and skill development of Slot Technicians while ensuring strict adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
  • Assist in planning, developing and implementing Slot game, bank or layout changes.
  • Review, recommends and/or revises policies and procedures that support the organization's initiatives and enables department to operate in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
  • Create and maintain preventive maintenance and repair programs in order to ensure Slot machines are in good working order and down times are minimized. Ensure daily maintenance of machines is conducted.  Coordinate machine relocations and machine conversions.
  • Analyze current physical layouts of slot machines and recommend appropriate changes that most effectively enhance utilization, manpower and floor space in collaboration with Slot Operations management.
  • Ensure efficient operation and repair of Slot machines and related gaming equipment, ensuring par levels of supplies and parts.
  • Maintain relationships with outside vendors pertaining to the technical side of the SLOT department as needed.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, and coordinate and oversee slot technical conversions and modifications.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of slot technician experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates or Technical degree in a related field preferred.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
